Practice Manager
Practice manager Mrs Jane Willis will be able to help you with any administrative problems you may have with the way our practice is run.

Our Nursing Team
Our highly qualified nurses, Karen Shepherd, Ann Crowther, Rachel Hyde, Sue Herbert and Naomi Ainsley, deal with a range of conditions and health concerns. Make an appointment to see them for dressings, immunisations, ear syringing and cervical smears. They also provide advice on minor health problems, travel and vaccination and run the asthma clinics.

Health Care Assistant
The health care assistant, Linda Hodgson, is an important member of the practice team who works under the supervision of a qualified nurse. She can take blood, check blood pressure, test urine and undertake simple dressings and removal of sutures.

Phlebotomists
Our two phlebotomists undertake daily blood letting clinics to relieve our busy nurses.

Reception Staff
We have 10 medical receptionists. They are here to help you and are fully trained to do a difficult job. They answer the phone, deal with enquiries and repeat prescriptions. Their job is very demanding so please be patient.

District Nurses
District Nurse Team Leader
Jill Becket  RN RM DNCert BA PGCPE Independent Prescriber and Practice Educator

District nurses provide highly skilled nursing care for patients and their families who are either too ill to attend the surgery for treatment, or who are frail or in some way infirm.

They work collaboratively with other agencies including social services, who will provide personal care (meals on wheels etc), occupational therapists, the palliative care team or any other specialist service.

The district nurses provide a seven day service, providing care from 8.30am - 4.30pm and are contactable by telephoning the surgery. An emergency evening service is also provided between 7.00pm - 11.00pm and this is contactable via the out-of-hours service.

Part of the role of the district nurses is to partake in education and this will involve student nurse training and specialist practice degree training.

The district nurses co-ordinate and run the treatment room at Finedon Health Centre. Telephone reception for an appointment.
