Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include but are not limited to the following:
- Medicals for pre-employment and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
- Insurance claim forms
- Holiday cancellation forms
- Fitness or otherwise to travel
- Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
- Private sick notes
- Vaccination certificates
Please note that we will no longer complete forms and medical assessments for sporting activities such as diving, parachute jumps, climbing mountains, running marathons, etc.
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
If you have a form, note or prescription to collect from the doctor please be aware that our reception team will ask for proof of identification before this can be released.
